Chung-Ang University administers a wide range of student exchange programs with its partner schools all around the world on one semester or an academic year basis. For most colleges and universities, credits earned at Chung-Ang University can be transferred back to the home university of each student. Students who want to study a semester or a year can participate in following regular academic programs:

a. Undergraduate courses offered in Korean in all subjects
b. Undergraduate courses offered in English
c. Graduate courses offered in English at Graduate School of International Studies
(* Undergraduate exchange students are allowed to take courses of Graduate School of International Studies.)

d. Special courses on Korean Studies in English for exchange students
e. Special courses on Korean culture, music, drama and performing art
f. Korean Language courses both in Korean and English




a. Program duration
- Three (3) weeks, starting June 25 and ends on July 13, 2007.

b. Program schedule and Academic Credit
- Three (3) hours of classroom lectures in the morning hours Monday through Friday each week for the total of 45 classroom hours for the program. Students earn three (3) academic units of credit. All lectures are conducted in English.

c. Lectures and Cultural Activities
- Lectures are organized by blocks of topics covering Korean Folk Culture and its tradition, Performing Art, Traditional Music and Dance, and Korean Economy and Politics. Afternoon cultural programs are organized around activities introducing students to rich cache of Korean traditional musical instruments and its demonstration / performances, traditional Korean cooking/culinary experience, opportunity to participate Korean marshal arts TAEKWONDO, and field trips to various historical and cultural sites.




International Center assists international students with housing, orientation, general academic affairs, university facilities, health insurance, and personal concerns. A peer student adviser(buddy), who is a Chung-Ang University student, is assigned to each international exchange student to provide assistance in campus life. International center also offers cultural programs regularly for students who want to understand Korean culture and society better.
