My experience participating in Chung-Ang University's International Summer School program was nothing short of amazing. From my arrival I was welcomed into thehome of my host family, as well as the faculty, staff and students of Chung-Ang University. The program was so well organized, and the people so helpful, that worrying was not necessary. Knowing that I was in good hands, I was able to fully take in Korea, the people and cultureunderstand the past, recognize current issues, and look forward to what will become. I learned so much in just three weeks, while making friends and having fun; I was blessed to have been a part of such a wonderful program.

There are just no words to describe all the fun and joy I had in Korea during my 3 week stay. I attended the International Summer School 2006 that was held in Chung-Ang University.

The course has broadened my knowledge and understanding of the Korean culture and its society. I made many valuable friends from Korea and from other countries, they were all very friendly and helpful. It sure was a good and fulfilling experience for me.

The3 weeks I spent in Korea attending the International Summer School will always be a part of my sweet memory !! "

On Understanding Korean Folklore Lecture

I was eager to find out more on Korean folklore coming from England with its
many years of history and various folk stories. After the first lecture on
Korean Folklore I was looking forward to learning more of the Koreans folklore
and 5000 years of history. I find the Korean folklore tales very interesting and
a novelty that the Korean people still have them involved in there culture as
some take a lot of imagination to really believe they happened.

On Field Trip to Gyeong JuI
would say the trip to Gyeong Ju was excellently planned. We did have to rush a bit on a few occasions, but it was only so that we could see more of this place. My deepest gratitude to the people from Chung Ang University, for giving me the chance to experience so much of Korea in such a short time, I am hoping that this exchange student program would go on for as long as it could, because every thing was planned nicely and we got to see, learn, taste, feel, the Korean culture in only a short number of weeks..

Overall this summer exchange programme has taught me so much about Korea's customs and culture.

The lessons and field trips were very stimulating and thought provoking, making me see things from a different point of view. I experienced so much about a country that isn't generally a tourist hot spot.

Ienjoyed learning about the historical and political background of Korea and seeing some of the traditional crafts which were skillfully made. It was a cultivating and exciting experience where people from different parts of the world could come together to learn and be educated about a country that values its culture and history so much that they wanted to share this with us and to also learn from one another. It has been a valuable experience, one I will never forget.

Awesome! I had the coolest buddy and the food was awesome. I'm very happy that I'm attending this year's International Summer School. I made valuable friends and got to meet really kindhearted people. I'll be really glad to visit Korea in the near future.
